Fire In The Hole!

Hot Stuff!
We took a flight to Dallas, this Thanksgiving, to see the relations. It was much colder then we anticipated, but the spicy food kept us warm! We ate far too much of it, but how could we not? It was fantastic. Even though Sam and I are still recovering from the peppers and onions, he is already complaining that our salsa is now too bland!

Good Run

Meg’s team (the Gators) also finished up their season today. Though, they faired slightly better then the Tsunami - they were undefeated!

Tsunami Aftermath

Kate’s team, the Tsunami, played their last game today. It was a season that was marred slightly in controversy - but hopefully the league will learn from their mistakes, and do a better job of balancing teams in the future. Happy Halloween!

The stuff that pies are made of
We went to Linvilla Orchard on Sunday to get some pumpkins - it was all you could carry for $19.99. I must admit that I was pretty impressive single handedly carrying 3 giant pumpkins (1 for each kid) and a little one for added affect!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We’re headed North to Wellington ON to meet family, take in a Dukes game (or two), celebrate Thanksgiving, and generally eat far too much! Happy Holidays!

Happy Anniversary

15 long stems
To Kel, my wife of 15 years! Here’s to 15 more!

Independence Day

Old Glory
Have a safe, and happy, 4th of July everyone!

Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks…

Citizens Bank Park
Kate, Kel, Dad and myself took in a ball game this afternoon at Citizens Bank Park. It was hot, the Phillies played well, and with seats 5 rows back from 1st base we had a great time!

Dominion Day

Canadian Flag in all its glory...
“On June 20, 1868, a proclamation signed by the Governor General, Lord Monck, called upon all Her Majesty’s loving subjects throughout Canada to join in the celebration of the anniversary of the formation of the union of the British North America provinces in a federation under the name of Canada on July 1st.”

And:

“On October 27, 1982, July 1st which was known as “Dominion Day” became “Canada Day”.”
