“Letters, Oh We Get Letters…

...we get your letters every day. Mailman, mailman mail today..." I've had that annoying little jingle from 95.5 WPLJ stuck in my head all day. The reason that I've had the song stuck in my head is that after several days of trying in vain I finally got mailing lists running on the server! I gave up on Majordomo because it was too involved, abandoned Listserv because it just wouldn't work, and finally settled on Mailman! Of the three it was truly the easiest to install, and interface with Postfix, plus it was the only one that worked!

That's right, using Normsoft.com's Pocket Tunes I can now listen to Shoutcast streaming where ever I go - how cool is that?!

Roll Your Own

Fedora
I finally got fed up with not having SCSI LUNs support, and decided to do something about it. Unfortunately, the only thing that I could do was pretty daunting - or so I thought.

Killer Apps

Chatter Screen Shot
Every once in awhile (not often enough) a truly great application comes along. Sometimes it offers you something that you haven't had before, other times it offers you a better way of doing something. Chatter, for the Treo, offers a much better way of communicating.
