Kelly and I dropped the big kids off at Camp Tick/Tockwogh today, and Kate is Canada for the weekend - so we’re all alone. The campers will be gone for 2 weeks - Meg is at Tockwogh, and Sam is at Tickwogh. It sounds great, but I have a feeling this big old house is going to get lonely…

We saw the circle of life today, with the introduction of a new Roomba vacuuming bot to our family. And, sadly, the loss of another beloved machine… It seems that today’s snow was so deep, and heavy, that it literally tore the auger drive assembly out of the Snowbuster 828! She will be missed dearly - especially if it snows again!

So the AC went last Saturday, and it has been hell this week in Philadelphia without air! Today, the contractor (that the home warranty company chose) came to replace the compressor. It took the contractor almost 6 hours to install the new compressor, and I’ve got to say I’m disgusted with the job he did.
