On a beautiful fall night, playing under the lights of Great Valley HS’ Patriot field, the Valley Forge Middle School team easily bested Great Valley MS.
Kate had a small group of friends over today to observe her upcoming birthday, and to celebrate her favorite holiday. It was, in the end, a lot of fun. It took a lot of people to help pull it off - thank you to all of them. And thank you to everyone who arrived in costume!
Today was Super Saturday! All of the Valley Forge Middle School’s fall sports teams played Tredyffrin/Eastown Middle School’s teams in a battle to name the toughest middle school! Not suprisingly the VFMS weight football team whompped TEMS for the 6th straight year!
Picture day for the team ended, unfortunately, with a disappointing loss. Still, the girls played well!
The Valley Forge Middle School Eagles taught the Radnor Middle School Raiders a lesson in humility this afternoon! It took Meg and I a while to get to the game - due to the construction in Wayne the game was played at Radnor High on Prevost field - but we were psyched when we finally arrived! The Eagles looked great for their first game. Now if they can just play as well on Super Saturday!
Meg’s field hockey team suffered their first loss today - to a well coached, aggressive and older team. Still, they played well - nothing to be ashamed about!

Its been a long time coming, but following in her sister's footsteps Kate learned to ride - at the beach. Way to go Kate!
Tonight was the New Eagle Spring Fair! The kids have been waiting all week for it, and I’ve been waiting along time to dunk Meg! She braved the icy water and got a whole lot of soaking!
