Meg’s team (the Gators) also finished up their season today. Though, they faired slightly better then the Tsunami - they were undefeated!
Kate’s team, the Tsunami, played their last game today. It was a season that was marred slightly in controversy - but hopefully the league will learn from their mistakes, and do a better job of balancing teams in the future. That aside, I had a wonderful time coaching the 13 great ladies that made up the team. Go Tsunami!

Kate, Kel, Dad and myself took in a ball game this afternoon at Citizens Bank Park. It was hot, the Phillies played well, and with seats 5 rows back from 1st base we had a great time!
The Dragons fell to the Oranges today in one of the windiest and coldest games of the season. Kate played super hard, but running up hill and bucking the wind was too much against such a strong Orange team.
The Girls of Summer (Fall?) looked a little rusty today - playing again with the larger sized ball. But they still managed to over come Chester Valley. And to top things off, Meg didn’t chip one of her neon green manicured nails!
Kate had nobody to pass to on this breakaway down the field; fortunately, it didn’t really matter as the Dragons whooped the Lemon Drops!

We took in Cirque de Soleil's Quidam performance tonight. It was fantastic, everyone loved the show and the Tapis Rouge...
The Boston Red Sox beat the Atlanta Braves in 6 innings this afternoon - Kate had 5 singles and 4 runs!
The Waves finished their season with a 7-4 whomping of the pale blue team. Meg was responsible for 2 of the Wave’s points!
We headed to the beach this year for spring break, and made a day trip to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Unbeknownst to us there was a rainforest exhibit which tied in directly with what Kate has been learning lately.
